My Travel Essentials

I’m one of those people who always ends up buying little things while traveling, but there are a few items that I never leave home without.

One of my absolute favorites is my portable fan. At 53, hot flashes can sometimes sneak up on me, especially on long flights or in crowded places. There are moments when I start feeling overheated and uncomfortable, and having this little fan with me makes a huge difference. It helps me cool down, relax, and honestly gives me a little peace of mind when I’m traveling.

For my son, I always pack non-drowsy Dramamine gummies. And the regular non drowsy for me. They’re a travel staple for us and something I like to have on hand just in case motion sickness becomes an issue.

I also never travel without a compact power bank. Keeping my phone charged while navigating airports, taking photos, and checking travel plans is one less thing I have to worry about.

The travel bottles and packing organizers help keep everything neat and easy to find, although I only bring the pieces I actually need for each trip. And of course, I always pack a few practical items like wipes and other small necessities that make travel a little more comfortable.

These are just a few of the things that have made traveling easier for me over the years. They’re simple items, but they’ve earned a permanent place in my suitcase.

If you’re curious, I’ve linked them in myAmazon storefront along with a few other travel favorites that I’ve found useful along the way.
